Turkey boosted the volume of cement export to Uzbekistan by 66.3 percent from January through April 2021 compared to the same period of last year - up to $3.6 million, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
As reported, Turkey’s export of cement to Uzbekistan increased 1.3 times in April 2021 compared to the same month of last year, reaching $887,000.
Turkey raised the export volume of cement to the global markets by 23.5 percent from January through April 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $1.4 billion.
Turkey exported cement worth $402.5 million in April, which is by 74 percent more than in the same month of 2020.
The Turkish export of these products amounted to $4.02 billion over the past 12 months (from April 2020 through April 2021).
