Turkey increased the export of chemical products by 34.9 percent from January through May 2021 compared to the same period of 2020 - up to $9.59 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In May 2021, Turkey exported chemical products worth $2.13 billion, which is 80.5 percent more compared to May 2020, the ministry said.
As the ministry added, over the past 12 months (from May 2020 through May 2021), the value of chemicals exports from Turkey totaled over $20.7 billion.
