Around 469 transport projects will be implemented in Turkey during 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
According to the ministry, over 42.4 billion Turkish liras ($5.06 billion) will be spent on the implementation of these projects, of which 5.9 billion liras ($704.9 million) will be attracted through external loans.
"Out of 282.7 billion liras ($33.7 billion) spent on transport projects in 2020, 56.8 billion liras ($6.78 billion) fell on external loans," the ministry said.
