The value of leather products’ export from Turkey to Turkmenistan has increased in the first six months of 2021, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to over $2.7 million, which is the growth of 67.8 percent on annual basis.
In June 2021, Turkey exported leather products worth $436,000 to Turkmenistan, up by 37 percent compared to June of last year.
Value of Turkish-made leather products’ export has exceeded $793.2 million, up by 25.7 percent from the same period of the previous year increased from January through June 2021.
In June 2021 the mentioned products’ export amounted to $158 million, which is the growth of 51.4 percent compared to the same month of 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from June 2020 through June 2021), Turkey has exported leather products worth more than $1.4 billion.
