The Turkish port of Aliaga received 3,306 ships from January through July 2021, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
Of the ships received at the port, 826 were flying the flag of Turkey, 2,480 - the flags of other countries, the ministry said.
Reportedly, in July of this year, Turkish ports received a total of 4,204 ships.
Of these, 1,298 were flying the flag of Turkey, 2,906 - the flags of other countries.
“The ports of Turkey in the first 7 months of 2021 received 29,302 ships, including 8,842 ships flying the flag of Turkey. The remaining 20,460 ships were flying the flags of other countries,” the ministry said.
