Value of Iran's import of Turkey-made cement up in 7M2021

Turkey’s export of cement to Iran has grown from January through July 2021 in value, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend on Aug.10.

According to the ministry, this indicator amounted to over $9.4 million, which is by 26.2 percent more than in the first seven months of last year.

In July 2021, value of Turkey’s cement export to Iran decreased by 17.7 percent on annual basis, making up $1.69 million.

In the first seven months of 2021, the product’s export by Turkey to world markets amounted to over $2.5 billion, up by 24.9 percent year on year, while in July this indicator amounted to over $358.2 million, up by 2.2 percent compared to July 2020.

The export of cement from the country reached $4.2 billion over the past 12 months (from July 2020 through July 2021).
