The value of export of grain and legumes from Turkey to international markets rose by 21.2 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, exceeding $5.57 billion, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In August 2021, Turkey’s export of grain and legumes totaled over $783.1 million, having increased by 43.9 percent compared to August 2020, the ministry said.
Over the past 12 months (from August 2020 to August 2021), Turkey’s exports of grain and legumes totaled over $8.26 billion.
