The value of export of grain and legumes from Turkey to Austria increased by 46.6 percent from January through August 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $14 million, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey told Trend.
In August 2021, the export of grain and legumes from Turkey to Austria increased by 20.7 percent compared to August 2020, reaching $323,000, the report said.
Turkey increased the export of grain and legumes by 21.2 percent in the first 8 months of this year compared to the same period of last year - up to nearly $5.58 billion.
Turkey’s export of grain and legumes for August 2021 exceeded $783.1 million, having risen by 43.9 percent more compared to August 2020.
In the last 12 months (from August 2020 to August 2021), Turkey’s exports of grain and legumes amounted to $8.26 billion.
