Some 1,038 vehicles were delivered from the Turkish port of Tuzla to the Greek port of Patras in 9M2021, and 1,434 in the opposite direction, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
According to the ministry, the transshipment of vehicles between the two ports in the specified period amounted to 2,742.
It is noted that the ports of Turkey handled over 1.5 million vehicles in 9M2021.
The ministry also reports that Ro-Ro ships delivered 933,445 vehicles to Turkish ports during the reporting period.
Some 572,609 vehicles were sent from the ports of Turkey by Ro-Ro ships in 9M2021.
In September of this year, Turkish ports handled a total of 160,501 vehicles, and Ro-Ro ships delivered 107,192 vehicles to the ports.
