The Turkish port of Iskenderun received 377 ships in January 2022, out of which 52 flew the flag of Turkey, and 325 - flags of other countries, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
According to the ministry, overall, Turkish ports received 3,965 ships in the reporting month.
Of the total number of ships received by the ports, 1,164 flew the flag of Turkey, while 2,801 - flags of other countries.
The ports of Turkey as of 2021 received 51,199 ships, including 15,120 under the Turkish flag.
The remaining 36,079 vessels received by Turkish ports flew the flags of other countries.
