Some 2 million tons of crude oil were transshipped through the ports of Turkey in January 2022, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey.
Ships flying the Turkish flag transported 143,502 tons of crude oil through local ports and ships flying the flags of other countries – 1.9 million tons during this period.
A total of four million tons of crude oil were transported in transit through the ports of Turkey.
Some 6.6 million tons of oil products were transshipped through the ports of Turkey in January 2022.

A total of 4.1 million tons of oil products were transported in transit through the ports of Turkey in January 2022.
Turkish ports transshipped 66.2 million tons of oil products in 2021.
Ships flying the Turkish flag transported three million tons of oil products through local ports and ships flying the flags of other countries – 63.2 million tons during the specified period.
A total of 48.1million tons of oil products were transported in transit through the ports of Turkey last year.
