BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Turkey increased the export of clothes to Azerbaijan by 1.6 times or up to $152,000 in March 2022, compared to the same month in 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
According to the ministry, Turkey exported clothes to Azerbaijan in the amount of $13.4 million from January through March 2022, which is 25.3 percent more than in the same period in 2021.
Turkey exported $2.02 billion worth of clothes to world markets in March 2022, up 20.7 percent from the same month in 2021.
"Turkey totally exported clothes to international markets in the amount of $5.4 billion in 1Q2022, which is 16.2 percent more than in the same period in 2021," the ministry said.
Turkey has exported a total of $21 billion worth of clothes in the past 12 months (from March 2021 through March 2022).
