BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 16. Turkey's Electricity Generation Corporation (EUAS) intends to implement five projects worth 39 million Turkish liras ($2.52 million) by the end of 2022, the country's Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources told Trend.
According to the ministry, all the projects will be implemented at the expense of the state budget.
"Last year, the company implemented 24 projects worth 1.7 billion Turkish liras ($110 million)," added the ministry.
A total of 130 energy projects will be implemented in Turkey by the end of 2022. Some 23.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.54 billion) will be allocated for their implementation.
A part of the projects will be financed by attracting foreign loans for 3.7 billion Turkish liras ($240 million).
Turkey’s spending on the implementation of energy projects in 2021 amounted to 16.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.08 billion).
A total of 125 energy projects were implemented in Turkey last year, and for this aim funds from foreign loans in the amount of 3.1 billion Turkish liras ($200 million) were attracted.
