BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. Türkiye has increased its ready-made garment exports to Uzbekistan from January through December 2023 by 33.5 percent compared to the same period in 2022, bringing it to $41 million, Trend reports.
The data from the Turkish Ministry of Commerce shows that the country increased its exports of ready-made garments to Uzbekistan by 13.1 percent in December 2023 compared to the same month in 2022, bringing it to $2.7 million.
To note, from January through December 2023, Türkiye's ready-made garment exports decreased by 9.2 percent compared to the same period in 2022, totaling $19.3 billion.
Meanwhile, Türkiye exported $1.5 billion worth of ready-made garments in December 2023, which is 14.6 percent less than in December 2022.
However, in the last 12 months (December 2022-December 2023), Türkiye exported ready-made garments worth $19.3 billion.
