BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. Türkiye has increased exports of steel products to Northern Cyprus from January through December 2023 by 25 percent compared to the same period in 2022, up to $148.5 million, Trend reports, referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
The ministry's data for December 2023 shows that Türkiye increased its steel exports to Northern Cyprus by 18.8 percent compared to the same month of 2022, up to $14.7 million.
Türkiye's exports of steel products decreased 29.2 percent from January through December 2023 compared to the same period in 2022 to $14.9 billion.
In December this year, Türkiye exported $1.4 billion worth of steel products, a 2.1 percent increase compared to December 2022.
Türkiye exported $14.9 billion worth of steel products in the last 12 months (December 2022-December 2023).
