BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Türkiye's exports of furniture, paper, and forest products from the country to Uzbekistan decreased by 27.3 percent from January through March 2024 compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $17.7 million, the statement of Türkiye's Trade Ministry said, Trend reports.
"Türkiye exported $4.9 million worth of furniture, paper, and forest products to Uzbekistan in March 2024, which is 48.8 percent less than in the same period last year," the statement of the ministry reads.
However, Türkiye's exports of furniture, paper, and forest products to world markets from January through March 2024 decreased by 1.2 percent compared to the same month in 2023 and amounted to $1.9 billion.
Meanwhile, Türkiye exported furniture, paper, and wood products worth $678.7 million in March this year, which was 10.5 percent less than in March last year.
To note, Türkiye exported furniture, paper, and wood products worth $8 billion in the last 12 months (from March 2023 through March 2024).
