BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 22. Iranian citizens bought 590 real estate properties in Türkiye from January through March 2024, which is 854 less year-on-year, Trend reports via the Turkish General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadastre.
The general directorate's data shows that Iranian citizens purchased 472 properties in Türkiye in March this year, 290 fewer than the previous year.
During the reporting month, 105,394 flats were purchased in Türkiye, down 0.1 percent year-on-year.
In the first quarter of 2024, a total of 279,604 apartments were purchased in Türkiye.
"This is 1.3 percent lower from the same period in 2023," explained the general directorate.
A total of 778 apartments were sold to foreigners in Türkiye in March 2024, a 47.9 percent drop year over year.
Foreign nationals purchased 5,685 residences in Türkiye from January through March of this year, a 48 percent decline year-on-year.
