( Cihan ) - Albanian President Alfred Moisiu has arrived in Istanbul to have a medical treatment at a military hospital in Turkish capital Ankara.
Moisiu, who has been suffering a knee problem, arrived at Ataturk Airport on Thursday afternoon. Instead of an airport stairs vehicle, an ambulance belonging to Turkish Airlines docked the plane so that Moisiu got off the plane.
Having greeted the military band, Moisiu went into the State Guesthouse at the airport.
President Moisiu later in the afternoon departed for Ankara where he was admitted to the Gulhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) Hospital for treatment.
