( Cihan ) -Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul put up for parliament as the Kayseri deputy for Justice and Development Party (AKP) in the upcoming early general elections scheduled for July 22.
Gul applied for the candidacy along with other 47 party members from the town.
AKP Provincial Chairman Mahmut Cabat said that they were pleased with Gul's decision and that he would be the first on the electoral list.
