( Cihannews ) - One soldier was killed and two were injured in a clash between Turkish security forces and Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) terrorists in southeastern Turkish Province of Mardin on Sunday.
During the operations they conducted against PKK terrorists in rural areas, the security forces encountered a group of PKK members in the Nusaybin district of Mardin and the casualties were caused by the fire terrorists opened refusing to surrender.
The injured soldiers were transported by helicopter to Diyarbakir military hospital. A wide-scale operation has been initiated in the region in order to track down the terrorists.
