Politics Materials 5 October 2005 12:27 (UTC +04:00)

Pro-Azerbaijani Forces bloc adjourned the meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Hajiaga Nuri, the chairman of the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan, a part of the elections bloc, told Trend.

The key objective of the delay was linked with the visits of founders of the bloc to regions, where they run for pre-elections in connection with the electioneering. “Perhaps, the gathering will be delayed until the elections day. It depends on the pre-election propaganda. But if there is necessity we could hold an irregular gathering. Nuri also said that other issues in agenda include the problem which the candidates could face with during the pre-elections campaign. It would be expedient to discuss problems in a gathering held on 12 October.

The chairman of Vahdat Party is currently involved in pre-election propaganda in Agsu District, while Rovshan Ahmadli, the head of the central pre-election headquarters, carries out similar work in Goychay.
