“15 people were arrested at the attempt of �Azadlig’ (Freedom) election bloc to hold an unsanctioned action near Narimanov subway station on Sunday,” Yashar Aliyev, the deputy chief of the Central Police Department, told journalists, Trend reports.
According to Aliyev, approximately 150 people participated in the action and the police did not use force against them.
Aliyev also noted that the public order was not violated and there was no serious confrontation between sides.
