Iran imported 6.752 million tons of non-oil goods worth some $9.745 billion in the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21 - June 20).

According to Iran Customs Administration, Asian countries' exports to Iran accounted for 69.21 percent (in terms of weight) and 78.68 percent (in terms of value) of the country's total imports.

European states also exported 2.276 million tons of non-oil goods worth some $2.214 billion in the first three months of current year.

The Americas with 551,000 tons and $344 million, Oceania with 182,000 tons and $72 million, and Africa with 4,000 tons and $10 million are the next continents on the list.

Iran totally imported 9.755 million tons of goods worth $12.386 billion in the mentioned three-month period.

Iran Customs Administration's latest report suggests that the country also exported 25.518 million tons of non-oil goods worth some $11.859 billion in the mentioned period.

The country's total trade amounted to $24.245 billion in the mentioned period, which shows 27 percent increase compared to the same period of time last year.
