Finland to share experience in tech park creation and management with Kazakhstan

Finnish experts are willing to share know-how in "smart" business infrastructure with Kazakhstan, the Kazakh foreign ministry reported Oct. 21 following a Kazakh delegation's visit to the Finnish "smart city" Oulu.

"The main purpose of the visit is to study the Finnish experience in the creation and management of technology parks, as well as in the context of further work on the EXPO complex in Astana," the ministry said.

During the visit, the Finnish company Technopolis presented a detailed presentation on the experience of creating an innovative sphere, the importance of coordinated work of the country, business, educational and research institutions.

"Some latest developments of the Finnish companies headquartered in Oulu Technology Park were demonstrated," a press release says.

The Kazakh delegation included the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Astana EXPO-2017" national company Nurlan Kapparov, the management of "Astana EXPO-2017" and "Sembol Construction" companies.
