The depth of the wells drilled by Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR in January-June 2016 totaled 53,280 meters versus 53,440 meters in the same period 2015, said SOCAR in a message posted on its website July 5.
SOCAR commissioned 26 new wells during the period.
Azerbaijan’s SOCAR includes companies producing oil and gas onshore and offshore, oil and gas processing plants, service companies, and institutions for geophysical and drilling operations.
