The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) plans to allot $17.5 million to the development of education system in Tajikistan, Avesta.tj reported on Wednesday.
The funds were decided to be allocated from the $321.8 million, granted by IDB to Muslim countries' development last week.
The funds will be spent on building and reconstruction of schools and purchase of needed equipment in Tajikistan.
IDP will also allocate funds for Pakistan, Uganda, Egypt and other countries.
