Caucasus Energy & Infrastructure (CEI) has completed the construction of an equal tank located at a height of 88 meters. Its function is to protect turbines from high water flows in case of extreme tunnel closure.
Mainly drilling and blasting operations were conducted while constructing the equal tank. The interior walls were concreted.
CEI builds a hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 48 MG in Akhaltsikhe district on the Kura River near the border with Turkey.
