The ministries will expand the powers for the adoption of legal acts, including the development and adoption of standards and regulations for public services, the minister said.

The central state bodies which are not a part of the governments and ministries will have powers to implement strategic, regulatory and supervisory functions and realize strategic plans and programs. A total number of 15,125 codes and laws are going to be amended.

The Kazakh Government was completely reorganized on Aug. 6. The new structure of the government includes 12 ministries and 30 committees.
