Kazakhstan's gold and currency reserves including gross reserves of the National Bank and the National Fund's assets slightly decreased to $90.64 billion in January 2016, said the statement of the Kazakh National Bank Feb. 9.
National Fund's assets increased by 0.22 percent - up to $63.65 billion since the beginning of the year.
Gross international reserves of the National Bank decreased by 3.15 percent - up to $26.99 billion in the reporting period.
Net international reserves decreased by 3.54 percent - up to $26.98 billion in January.
Assets in currency decreased by 6.32 percent - up to $19.02 billion.
Assets in gold increased by 5.32 percent - up to $7.98 billion.
As previously reported, over 2015, Kazakhstan's gold and currency reserves, including gross reserves of the National Bank and the National Fund's assets decreased up to $91.38 billion in January compared to $102.45 billion in the beginning of the year.
