The 18th international exhibition titled 'Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan - OGU 2014' will be held at Uzbekexpocentre (Tashkent), from May 13 to May 15, Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company (NHC) said.

OGU will present the services and products of nearly 150 companies. The first day of the OGU will be held under the flag of Russia's Lukoil as is traditional. Lukoil is one of the largest investors in Uzbekistan's oil and gas market.

Companies from over 40 countries, including Motor Sich Public Joint Stock Company, have verified their participation at the exhibition. United Engine Corporation (UEC), AUMA Actuators LLC, Gidromashservice, Sharjah Oxygen, CGG, Dressta, Confind and Solar Turbines, Jumo, MAN, Kanex and Samson, Beijing Tianhai Industry Co., Ltd, BGP Inc. are many of those believing that participation at the OGU events is mandatory.

LUKOIL, Sasol, WorleyParsons, Oltin Yo'l GTL (Uzbekistan GTL), Yokogawa Electric CIS Ltd. will sponsor the exhibition.

An international conference will open on the second day of the exhibition by tradition. Over 200 delegates - experts are expected to participate in this conference.

The following key issues have been included in the agenda of the plenary and technical meetings: the development of oil and gas industry in Uzbekistan, including the evolution of the development of oil and gas sector in Uzbekistan and its role in the oil and gas market of Central Asia and beyond, forecasted figures for the development of the oil and gas sector for 2014-2015, the role of international oil companies in the successful development of industry in Uzbekistan, priority areas of cooperation in the oil and gas sector and the opportunities for production and processing of oil shale.

OGU is among the most important specialized exhibitions and conferences alongside with MIOGE (Russia), KIOGE (Kazakhstan), Caspian Oil & Gas (Azerbaijan), TUROGE (Turkey), OGT (Turkmenistan).
