Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak is slated to visit Iran on December 13.
The announcement was made by Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan Dzhagaryan in a meeting with the chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, the chamber’s website reported November 28.
According to Russian ambassador, Novak will be accompanied by a trade delegation and will attend the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Committee. The committee’s Iranian side will be headed by ICT Minister Mahmoud Vaezi.
Iran and Russia have also set a goal to achieve a bilateral trade volume of $4 billion per year.
Iran and Russia recently signed an agreement which will facilitate visa issuance for tradesmen on both sides.
