Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec. 9
By Rufiz Hafizoglu - Trend:
There was a fight in the Turkish parliament between the oppositional MPs during the discussions of the 2014 budget, the Turkish newspaper Sabah reported on Dec. 9.
The newspaper reported that the fight started because of the use of the word "Kurdistan" by a pro-Kurdish party.
The MPs from the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) called Turkey's south-eastern part "Turkish Kurdistan". The MPs from Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) reacted negatively to this.
As a result of the fight the discussions of the budget were suspended.
