So far, 147 people have died from the A.H1N1 virus in Iran, Iranian Health Minister Marzieh Vahid Dastjerdi was quoted as saying by IRNA TV.
Dastjerdi noted that 3,762 people have fallen ill with the virus.
The first swine flu case was confirmed in Iran July 14.
Member of the Iranian Committee on Combating Inflectious Diseases Masud Mardani said so far 140 people have died from the A.H1N1 in Iran.
