U.S. citizen Sarah Shourd was summoned to the court in Iran for the upcoming trial scheduled for Feb. 5, Iranian Attorney General, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ezhei, was quoted by IRNA news agency as saying.
The hearing was originally scheduled for November 6. It was postponed because of the absence of one of the detainees. She was released on bail.
Three Americans, two men and a woman were arrested in July 2009 near the Iran-Iraq border on suspicion of spying. Tehran accused the U.S. citizens of crossing the border illegally and espionage.
Their families have said if they crossed the border at all, it was inadvertent.
The woman, Sarah Shourd, was released on bail a of $500,000 in September on compassionate grounds and returned to the United States.
The Iranian side said that the amount of bail paid by Shourd will increase up to $500,000 if she refused from appearing in the court.
Her fiance, Shane Bauer, and friend Josh Fattal remain in prison and could go on trial next month.
