Erdogan, who heads the country's official delegation, arrived in Iran on Jan. 28. The Turkish PM has already met with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, and is expected to meet the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Erdogan said he is meeting high-ranking Iranian officials and will be discussing important happenings between the two countries, as well as other international issues.

Turkish PM also noted that the country, along with Iran, will apply joint efforts to strengthen stability and development in the region.
