Turkey's prime minister said on Wednesday that the Central Asia basin could give shape to world's future if countries of the region acted with solidarity, Anadolu Agency reported.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is currently paying a formal visit to Kyrgyzstan, paid a visit to Kyrygyzstan-Turkey Manas University.

Speaking at the ceremony held in his honor, Erdogan said Kyrygyzstan-Turkey Manas University was the most important indicator of the two countries' cooperation in education, moreover, it was Turkey's biggest investment in Kyrgyzstan.

Erdogan said the Turkish-Kyrygz university not only offered modern education, but it also provided a platform for social cohesion, acquaintance and dialogue.

"A common future is being established here," he said.

The prime minister noted that students getting education at Kyrygyzstan-Turkey Manas University would carry the Turkish-Kyrgyz cooperation to a level further.

"We believe universities like this, where Turkish, Kyrgyz students and people from many other countries study, will build the peaceful world of the future," he said.

"If we act with solidarity, the Central Asia basin can be the actor that gives shape to the future," the prime minister also noted.
