Georgian and Russian political analysts have become acquainted with the on-going reforms in the energy sector of Georgia.
First Deputy Energy Minister Mariam Valishvili and Deputy Minister Giorgi Kavelashvili discussed the reforms with political scientists, the Georgian Energy Ministry said on Thursday.
Valishvili also informed the political scientists about regional energy projects in which Georgia is involved. Those in which Georgia intends to participate in the future were also identified.
Russian political analysts will meet with representatives of other government departments and NGOs during the visit.
This project aims to establish closer contacts between young political scientists of both countries and provide a platform for Georgian-Russian cooperation.
