President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili is holding bilateral meetings in the course of his working visit to the United States. According to him, the purpose of these meetings is 'to establish friendly relations with what might be the future government of the United States."

"I recently met with the current leaders of the U.S., but it is important to calculate what will happen in 2016 and who will be the next president of the United States. Therefore, I am meeting with almost everyone in the Democratic and Republican parties who represent America's future and with those who tomorrow will become the head of the United States, "Saakashvili said.

According to him, economic growth has started in the United States.

"The role of America in the following years will further increase, so we must be ready for the future. Our relations with the United States show great opportunities," Saakashvili said.
