Azerbaijan, Baku, 20 June / Trend / Elshad Iskandarov, Secretary General of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation (ICYF-DC), stated that the resolution proposed by ICYF-DC, had been considered within the framework of the 35th session of the organization.
This resolution envisages marking the Day of Memory of victims of humanitarian disasters in the OIC countries. The resolution also includes a campaign to spread the true information about humanitarian disasters , aggressions and ethnic cleanings, which the Muslim nations underwent in the 20th century.
The campaign's priority for 2009 and 2010 was proposed as the initiative by Leyla Aliyeva, the Coordinator General of OIC Youth Forum for Intercivilized and Intercultural Dialogue -"Justice of Khojali is Liberation of Karabakh".
The campaign aimed to release the true information in 57 OIC countries about bloodshed, committed by Armenian formations against the peaceful Azerbaijani residents, as well as to create the information web-site to place the image reflects of the campaign.
It is expected that within the framework of the campaign the Khojali tragedy to be recognized as a mass slaughter.
According to the OIC Youth Forum's initiative, the Khojali tragedy was given a political evaluation during the previous session of the organization in Islamabad in May 2007.
