The President of Israel Shimon Peres arrived for official visit to Azerbaijan, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
At the Baku airport he was met by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyyubov.
After that, the official ceremony took place. The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Shimon Peres. The national anthems of Israel and Azerbaijan were played and the guard of honour marched in the front of two Head of States.
After official ceremony, the private meeting between the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Israel was held. Bilateral relations, regional and international questions were discussed during the meeting .
