On Jan. 15, the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan discussed the report on the activities of the organization in 2009, says the official report of the Council.
Discussions were also held on several other issues, including notarization of contracts on the grant in accordance with the rules of registration of agreements (decisions) on receiving grants, the implementation of relevant provisions of the Law on NGOs, associated with presenting annual financial report on the activities of NGOs to the Ministry of Finance. It was noted that there are some problems in this regard and was stressed the need to provide time for NGOs to update report forms. At the meeting, it was decided to prepare proposals for the beginning of the financial reporting of NGOs to the Justice Ministry from April 2011.
The chief of the head registration and notary department of the Ministry of Justice, member of the Council Ilgar Mammadov presented a certificate on registration of NGOs and responded to questions from Council members.
