The final documents of the summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States (CCTS) were signed at the 'Ala-Archa' state residence in Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Kyrgyz President said today.
The agreement on the financial rules of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the agreement on the formation of a Turkic Academy of Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries and an agreement on establishing a foundation of Turkic culture and heritage of the CCTS were among the documents signed at the meeting.
The Bishkek Declaration of the Second Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking states was also signed.
In a press statement, the Kyrgyz president expressed gratitude to all participants of the interchange. He expressed special gratitude to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Artur Rasizade.
The Kyrgyz president said that the participants focused on the economic aspect of cooperation at the CCTS first summit. The second summit meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries in Bishkek was largely devoted to solving the problems of the transport sector of the participating countries.
"The decision on establishing the Turkic Academy signed today, testifies to the increasing rapprochement of the Turkic countries," the Kyrgyz president said. "This is one more step towards bringing our fraternal peoples together."
The Kazakh President thanked his Kyrgyz counterpart for the summit's excellent organisation.
The next meeting of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries will be held in Azerbaijan in 2013.
