The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents toughens measures against private medical facilities operating in the country, Acting Head of the Committee's State Control Service for Technical Regulation and Standardization Abulfat Imanov told media today.
"Serious violations were revealed in some private clinics, related to the lack of laboratory accreditation and registration of metrology equipment," he said. "This casts doubt on the results of laboratory tests."
The administrative measures were taken against these health facilities. Some were instructed to eliminate violations during the month or face more stringent measures.
