Slovenian company plans to enter telecommunication market of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic

Slovenian telecommunication company Iskratel claims to be the supplier of telecommunication systems to modernize telecommunication nodes of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the Communications and IT Ministry of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic said today.

The issue was discussed with the management of the company's representative office in Azerbaijan.

The ministry informed the company's management about further plans in connection with the work in the telecommunications sector, the deployment of broadband services, rendering IP-telephony services over the Internet.

The company demonstrated technical solutions that can be used by telecommunications departments, city and district administrations, communication departments of the ministry.

The ministry showed interest in the company's solutions at the telecommunication exhibition BakuTel-2012. The agreement was reached to hold a meeting in the ministry.

At present, Iskratel's telecommunication solutions are used to deploy Next Generation Networks (NGN) in Baku.
