The PEYK plant owned by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence Industry has increased its DVB-T- decoder production for digital TV, the plant told Trend on Monday.
DVB-T PEYK devices produced at the plant are being sold in Baku and regions of Azerbaijan. Currently, the plant has produced about 2000 decoders.
PEYK reported that the plant bought the components for producing an additional several thousand decoders. Production will be regulated in line with consumer demand. The devices have been successfully tested.
The market value of the decoders is 30 manat. They are designed for watching as a social package.
Chinese company BBK Electronics Corp., LTD is a supplier of the components. Its products are now in demand in a number of CIS countries and Eastern Europe.
