Azerbaijan , Baku /corr Trend I.Khalilova / Yagub Eyyubov, the Azerbaijani First Deputy Premier, stated on 23 February that the Azerbaijan Government has no intention to give the electricity distribution networks of Baku and Sumgayit to manage in the nearest future.
Previously, Barmek made a number of errors during its management over these networks. "Too much money was spent incorrectly which therefore led to the electricity distribution networks being returned to the Government," he stressed.
Eyyubov denied rumors on the possible transition of the electricity distribution networks of Baku and Sumgayit to be managed by German company Siemens or the Russian Unified Energy Systems.
