Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Aghayeva / A range of issues on bilateral cooperation will be discussed within the framework of the upcoming visit of the Russian Government's Vice Prime Minister, Sergey Naryshkin, to Azerbaijan, taking place from 31 August to 1 September, the spokesman for Russia's Embassy in Azerbaijan, Stepan Rybalka, reported on 29 August.
The agenda of the approaching negotiations will include issues on economic cooperation within the framework of the CIS, bilateral cooperation within the framework of international organizations, security issues, the situation in the region and in the world, and so on.
In accordance with the preliminary program, Naryshkin will begin his visit to Azerbaijan by visiting the grave of Azerbaijan's ex-president Heydar Aliyev. Afterwards he will meet with Azerbaijan's First Vice Prime Minister, Yagub Eyyubov.
Naryshkin and Eyyubov head the inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.
In the evening of 29 August, Naryshkin will meet with the representatives of Russian business circles working in Azerbaijan.
On 1 September, Naryshkin will meet with Azerbaijan's religious figures.
