Ukraine's resort city of Truskavets hosted a festive event dedicated to the Baku 2015 European Games.
Booklets were handed out during the festive event, held jointly in the central square of Truskavets by the Azerbaijan-Ukraine International Alliance and the Dushunje Support for Youth Development Public Association, with the information support from the Trend Agency.
During the event, the Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Ukraine International Alliance Elmar Mammadov and the Deputy General Director of Trend Agency, Chairman of the Dushunje Support for Youth Development Public Association Emil Huseynli told the city's residents and visitors about the Baku 2015 European Games.
At the end of the event, balloons were released into the sky.
Earlier, a march dedicated to the First European Games was held in Kiev, Ukraine. The march was organized by Azerbaijan-Ukraine International Alliance and 'Support for youth development - Dushunce' public association, with information support of Trend Agency.
During the event, booklets and magazines dedicated to the First European Games were distributed among the residents and guests of Kiev in the city's center. In addition, they were informed in detail about the First European Games.
Baku 2015 is the first ever European Games, an exciting and innovative multi-sport event for the continent which will take place on June 12-28, 2015.
There will be a total of 20 sports at Baku 2015: 16 Olympic sports and four non-Olympic sports. More than 6,000 athletes from across Europe will be representing their nations over 17 days of competition.
Baku was awarded the games by the European Olympic Committees (EOC) in December 2012.
