Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will receive two Boeing-787 Dreamliner aircraft by late 2014, AZAL deputy head Sabir Ilyasov told reporters Sept. 24.
"At present, all issues related to the financing of the new aircraft purchase are being resolved," he said. "This is connected with formalization of this process due to long-term loans."
"Airplanes are almost ready," he said. "We will get them soon."
"The new aircraft will be brought to the country with an interval of one month," he said.
At present, AZAL fleet consists of "Boeing 757-200", "Boeing 767-300", "Airbus 319", "Airbus A320", "Airbus A340-500", "Embraer ERJ 170-100LR" and "Embraer ERJ 190-100" aircraft.
