Process of introducing electronic services in agriculture starts in Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan is working on the development of a new project, AqroUber, which provides for the expansion and acceleration of the agricultural innovations' adaptation, an employee of the Department of Innovation and Development of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan, Kamran Akhverdiyev told Trend.
Akhverdiyev noted that the project is aimed at providing farmers with agricultural equipment, as well as creating a single register of specialized machine operators in the country.
"A project is being implemented to simplify the process of providing farmers with agricultural equipment using various innovations. We believe that the web and mobile platform will play a communicative role between farmers and agrotechnical owners, machine operators," Akhverdiyev said.
He added that the ministry hopes that an easy-to-use program will provide a quick search for the necessary agricultural technologies and order processing, as well as provide an opportunity to monitor the work progress in real time.
